Oh the things a 4 year old says

So we were in the van headed to Walmart. The girls were buckled safely in their carseats and watching a movie and I was trying to make a mental note of all the things I needed to get at the store. All of a sudden Jenna proclaims, "Something stinks mommy!" I smiled and chuckled to myself and said, "It's a skunk" to which she quickly replies back to me, "I don't like skunks! They stink! He needs to go and jump in a pond and take a bath!" I truly almost peed in my pants! It was so funny. The girls then took turns giggling and holding their noses saying "Stinky".

I just loved it. I loved that her little mind immediately came up with a solution to the problem. The skunk was stinky and he needed a bath. And where would a skunk take a bath - well outside in a pond of course! Oh, if only that would help!

My First Post

Hello all! So this is my first blog post. I was inpsired to start my own blog by a couple of ladies in my MOPS group! So here it is! My girls are both napping (or at least they are tucked quietly up in their beds) so I thought I'd take a few minutes to get started on this new project!

I'm not sure what all my blog will be, it will kind of have to evolve as I learn what to do! But I'm looking forward to the challenge!
