Questions, Questions, Questions

Okay so I read a statistic that said that in the Toddler years from Age 2 to Age 4 a child will ask 400,000 questions. Yep, that is the correct number - 400,000! Seriously! I'm really thinking that number can't be right! It has to be way low - or I just have two VERY inquisitive daughters!

So here is the breakdown:

400,000 questions in 2 years
200,000 questions in 1 year
548 questions per day
23 question per hour
Average 1 question per minute

WOW! Is that nuts or what!

Jenna can fire questions out faster then my mind can process them. And then she gets upset when she is on question 3 in her series and I haven't even answered question 1 yet! No wonder I'm so exhausted by the end of the day! And Jessa is getting just as bad. If she can't think of her own questions she'll just repeat her sisters! Oh my goodness!!!! Makes my head swim!

But the good thing is that is how they learn And I'm glad that they seek knowledge and want to learn! I hope they just continue that thirst for knowledge through their school years! However, I'm sure that boys and social pressures at some point will change that! :)
